My most ambitious strip so far! The only thing I'm not happy with is that I should have put the "Him?" a little further to the left.

Technical stuff: I'm spending too long on cleanup. When I scan the image, either the scanner is too good or too crap. I think it's a combination of it being too good and the paper not being white enough, because I get all these little patches that are not-quite-white and when I'm colouring, they show up as grainy or white bits that I have to fill in individually. What is working better is to use the select colour tool to select the white area, inverse the selection and then fill with black. That also gives me the nice black lines which make the strip look oh so better. What I might try next week is to scan the hand drawing, create a new layer above the original and then re-draw it with the pen tool. And I'll probably need a graphics tablet... :(
