Ned Kelly's Armour7 viewsThis is the suit of armour worn by Ned Kelly the day that he was taken prisoner (and also shot). It is in the museum in Melbourne, along with a heap of other really cool stuff.

Goldsbrough9 viewsThe Goldsbrough Building in darling Harbour, Sydney. I didn't find anything particularily fantastic about this building (other than the architecture) but it was one of the main landmarks visible from our window.

Sunset behind Anzac Bridge8 viewsThis is another photo from when I was living in Sydeny. Anzac bridge is a long suspension style bridge which could be seen from the balcony of the place I was staying at.

Cloud Wall over the Nullabor Plain9 viewsI took this shot out the window on the Indian Pacific train on the way from Sydney to Perth. It struck me as being so odd that there was such a defined line at the edge of the clouds. This extended horizon to horizon but I didn't get a photo from the other side of the train.

Sky at night26 viewsOne of my first shots of the night sky. Since we were pretty close to a major shopping centre, there is heaps of light reflecting off the low clouds, giving them that distinctive orange "city lights" look.

Test Shot #12,49210 viewsOne of the first shots taken with a 10mm lens. You get a nice effect with a wider lens and can get some good shots.
(Note that a smaller number gives you a wider shot, a higher number zooms in more. A 250mm lens lets you zoom right in, a 5mm is a fisheye lens.)Feb 14, 2010

Ute on Site9 viewsPhoto of my car out in the new housing developments. It seems like it is where it belongs when there is construction around. Technically, this is just an empty sandlot in the background, but you get the idea.Feb 14, 2010

Short Pier10 viewsSomething to take a long walk off, except that the railing stops you.
This photo was taken with a 10mm lens and I love how it came out.Feb 14, 2010

Parkland Structures13 viewsOne of those strange "artistic" style pagoda roof thingies that are quite prevalent in the areas around where I live. Taken with a 10mm lens.Feb 14, 2010

Little Lost Shoe11 viewsI'm sure that there is a story that goes with this shoe, though I have no idea what it is. I was walking along and saw it lying by the side of the road. I wonder if the owner ever got it back...Nov 01, 2009

Benchlight Again10 viewsAnother park bench at night. They seem so forlorn and lonely when there is nobody around to sit on them.Nov 01, 2009

Another Bridge to Nowhere13 viewsThis bridge actually does lead somewhere - it crosses an artifitial lake to a small secluded parkland with a rasied walkway running through it.Nov 01, 2009

Structure8 viewsI have no idea what this is meant to be. It is some type of art installation in one of the parks but just what it represents eludes me.Nov 01, 2009
