Clear Moon23 viewsThe moon always looks small when photographed, unless you have a really long lens. I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out.

Evening13 viewsOne of my first attempts to get some night shots. Technically, this is dawn, but I'm still counting it.

Cloudy Moonlight21 viewsThe moon behind some clouds, around ten pm.

The main difficulty with night shots of clous is that you need to leave the shutter open long enough to get enough usable light but if it is open too long then the clouds become fuzzy since they are moving

Sky at night27 viewsOne of my first shots of the night sky. Since we were pretty close to a major shopping centre, there is heaps of light reflecting off the low clouds, giving them that distinctive orange "city lights" look.

Overlook16 viewsThis is a photo of the suburbs in the early morning light. The lights are still on in the streets and all the sane people are still asleep. I'm climbing trees instead...

Cloudy Sunset and City Lights9 viewsThe evening twilight in Sydney as seen from the sixteenth floor.

Cloud Wall over the Nullabor Plain10 viewsI took this shot out the window on the Indian Pacific train on the way from Sydney to Perth. It struck me as being so odd that there was such a defined line at the edge of the clouds. This extended horizon to horizon but I didn't get a photo from the other side of the train.

Morning Lights18 viewsPre-dawn light with the streetlights still shining brightly.

Cloudy Sunset7 viewsWe get a lot of great sunsets here in Western Australia.

Ute on Site11 viewsPhoto of my car out in the new housing developments. It seems like it is where it belongs when there is construction around. Technically, this is just an empty sandlot in the background, but you get the idea.

Short Pier11 viewsSomething to take a long walk off, except that the railing stops you.

This photo was taken with a 10mm lens and I love how it came out.
