I miss my hair40 viewsThis was taken back in the day when I had long hair (for the second time). Currently re-growing my hair again but I'm not sure if I'll let it grow this long.

Sky at night27 viewsOne of my first shots of the night sky. Since we were pretty close to a major shopping centre, there is heaps of light reflecting off the low clouds, giving them that distinctive orange "city lights" look.

On the shelf24 viewsThis is one of the first photos I took with the 300D. I love the depth of focus and the even lighting, though there are a number of things wrong with the photo.
Like I said, it was one of the first.

Floral Arrangement #123 viewsTrying out the camera, these (plastic) flowers presented a nice target.

Clear Moon23 viewsThe moon always looks small when photographed, unless you have a really long lens. I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out.

Cloudy Moonlight21 viewsThe moon behind some clouds, around ten pm.
The main difficulty with night shots of clous is that you need to leave the shutter open long enough to get enough usable light but if it is open too long then the clouds become fuzzy since they are moving

Hidden Graffiti21 viewsThis is a fairly simple trick. Anyone who has waved a light around and seen the lines of light will be familiar with it. I used a torch to "write" my name.
What I like about this is that the results are in the camera and nowhere else. Anybody sitting at that table enjoying a picnic will never know that I "wrote" upon that surface.

Streetlights at night21 viewsNot sure if I've put this one up or not.

Giant Droplet21 viewsThis is a bit of a cheat since this is one of those half-size mini CD's so it makes the drop of water look a lot bigger than it really is.

Curiosity20 viewsOur other cat, wondering what I am doing.
Of course, I am waving my hand around in order to get it to look in the desired direction while I take it's photo.
